Calendar Art Awesomeness

For calendar art this year we used a technique called sgraffito, or scratch art. We layered paint over pastel, and then scratched off our design. Get your orders in now for this amazing art. Every student will have brought home and order form. Orders are due back on the 23rd of September.

Using Graphic Notation to Write Music

We have been learning to use graphic notation to write our own music.

First we assigned symbols to different sounds.

Collaborating on Respect

We are learning how to be a good group member. We have created a self assessment rubric. We did a bus stop activity to share our ideas about respect in our classroom.
